There's also a leap second that happens occasionally to make everything correct, but the powers that be are planning to stop adding that second by 2035 as computers don't calculate it and throws time off.

I'm in New Zealand and some petrol pumps were not working today (29 Feb) because the bloody software couldn't cope with leap year. WTF were the programmers thinking?

I won't be alive when the year 2100 rolls around. I wonder if software then will cope with 2100 not being a leap year?
