BTW Kamala can use shapeshifting to heal quickly. She literally used it in her second comic to heal from a fatal gunshot.

Kamala Khan looks like a grown woman in this art style.
This art style is just terrible to me.

It's not even that she died in a comic she was barely apart of, don't get me wrong that doesn't help. It's the fact that she died using a power she doesn't have anymore, failing to use a power she has never had any trouble with, and then she has both a new comic and a new movie coming out in a few months so her "death" won't even take that long to be undone.

If the point of a death is to make me feel something this is probably one of the worst deaths ever written into fiction. It's not saddening, rage inducing, or gut wrenching. It is just apathetic.

I can imagine they're planning bring her back to life, and her powers would "evolve, " literally make it similar to her live action version. I can see that happening.

Disclaimer: I'm not a comics expert

IMO I think they killed her off to bring her back with powers more aligned to the MCU version. Almost like that time they gave Peter organic webs like in the movies

"Oh no!... anyway" is what her entire character can be summed up with

- Barely existed in the comic.
- Pulls up suddenly.
- Instantly dies.
- Forgots she can heal from a gunshot, so a stab shouldn't be a problem.
- "You did a good job."

By the way, she's seen in the comic cover of Iron Man and Emma Frost's wedding. Alive.

Luke's right. No one's ever really gone...

Doesn't she have superhuman durability and a healing factor?

Jim Shooter on women in refrigerators. Very relevant for the death of Ms Marvel.

"First, I'd like to say that I'm delighted that I'm not responsible for any of the atrocities on your list. I've had violence done to women (and men) in my stories, of course, but not of the pernicious sort (says me) to which I gather you're objecting. I'd chalk most of what's on your list up to lame writing. In desperate search of drama, and unable to obtain it any other way, some writers will resort to obvious emotional triggers/easy pickin's. You can always get a bang by killing Aunt May, or for that matter, Superman. The biggest crime is that many of these stories are unfolded badly, baldly and pathetically, by writers who don't have a clue. People looking for Freudian motives, i.e., hatred of Mother, etc., are wasting their time. Most of these writers sweated cannonballs trying to think of something SO SHOCKING that it would evoke a response from readers, and violence to women was the most horrifying thing they could come up with. Usually, the response to these badly told tales is boredom. Sometimes, they succeed in mobilizing folks like you, who wonder if these writers are sick. Nah. They just suck."

It’s also an issue cause she died just to cause Spider-Man pain. There are even minor details in Ms. Marvel’s senseless death, most notably the fact that the villain felt the effects of the sacrifice *before* she actually passed away and not after.

I refuse to believe this is anyone other than Zeb responsible. Editorial would have put a stop to this issues ago

I won't fall for you tricks, Marvel Editorial. You can't make me want Peter to be with someone else because you character assassinated MJ. I'll still keep vying for MJ and Peter to get together. If you can keep them apart out of spite, I'll want to keep them together. Out of spite.

Her death, given what happened with her afterward, basically amounted to "My death was greatly exaggerated"

This sort of looks like an AI trying to capture the aesthetic of those Peter Parker Spider-Man books from when I was growing up in the '90s and failing hard

It's not even that she wasn't really featured in the book, I think respectfully Benny that's a- gross simplification of the issue people have. Like it's a super minor facet compared to the fact that Kamala dies doing the thing she swore to herself never to do again which was shapeshift, two as I understand she might have even have that power anymore? And three, as I understand whilst she's shapeshifting anyways she can't be hurt? Or like- not easily, someone said she can use it to heal a fatal wound, so something like this SHOULDN'T even be possible ANYWAYS. So again, the issue has so much less to do with her dying in a book she rarely appears in and more so to do with that it completely disregards her history just for the sake of killing her off. This is practically a fridging scenario.

If only Paul were there...he would of known what too do and Kamala would of been spared.

i just want this run to be stricken from canon. Marvel clearly didnt like it and the fans all hate it so just start a new run that has nothing from this run involved. use mysterio or a telepath to say it wasnt real i dont care just strike all of this from canon
