One time i saw an old man selling peanut brittle bars at a street market in mexico.

He had a small platter with about 50 bars. And he was selling them for the equivalent of 30 cents each.
So it occurred to me to just purchase the whole thing.

The old man was completely flabbergasted, and didn't know how to react.

It was really rewarding, for 15 bucks i got to make that man's day, and i felt really good about it.
And i just gave away the peanut brittle to my family members.

I highly encourage you guys to do that when you approach a similar situation. Ever since then, ive done it about 4 other times, usually when someone really poor has a small amount of merchandise for sale.

Once i saw a lady with her daughter selling a handful of handmade dolls, they had about 5, and i bought 3 of them. I would've bought all of them, but I didn't have enough money with me. still they were really taken aback because they had just sat down to sell, and immediately sold 3.

On a different ocasion my uncle and i were haggling a price for some home furnishings at a store, and the store owner wouldn't budge. In the middle of our negotiation, an old lady asked if we wanted to buy some chocolates, the store owner dismissed her pretty rudely, probably because she interrupted the negotiation.
Then i left my uncle and the owner continue the negotiation while i went to the old lady and bought all her chocolates, and when i came back to the counter, the store owner said, ok, we'll do your price.

I paid like 10 bucks for the chocolates and the owner agreed to my offer, which was like 50 bucks lower than what the store owner wanted.

A necklace my aunt gave me when I joined the military. It rarely, if ever, left me. I always wear it. It got ripped off me while floating in a river with some friends. Gone for good. Then I found a nearly identical one on clearance (still over $100) while at a nice jewelry store 2, 000 miles from home. Didn’t even hesitate. The necklace means a lot to me because who gave it to me, and I would’ve been heartbroken to see my aunt without it.

The one I had, to try out if I really wanted to wear one, was colored resin and it was having some issues (like getting tacky if I forgot to take it off before washing my hands and not really being able to stand up to being worn while working). So I went to a local jewelry store with a good reputation and kind staff (I'd purchased small, premade pieces from them before, mostly as gifts) and commissioned a pride ring made of gold and semiprecious stones. I've worn it every single day since.

I had a bike (mountain bike style, just very cheaply made) some years ago, it had the minimum 2 year warranty. It only juuust lasted those 2 years before the handle bars started to become loose and not long after that, fell off. Turned out the entire frame was rusted, and I hadn't even biked that much in the rain. So I was looking at another bike (those flimsy 120€ supermarket ones) and thought to myself, "not again, F this - I'll go to a real bicycle shop and pay whatever it costs." Ended up paying about 1000€, but it has been worth everything. Nearly 6 years later and it has cost me almost nothing in maintenance so far.

I am visually impaired and I have tried my entire life 21y/o trying to find sunglasses ( don’t have low vision) but because of the sun and some are dark and some aren’t even close but I went to a specialist and told me about costa sunglasses and they come in a 2x frame I have a huge head 8.5-9.5 hat size so I found my perfect pair of costa sunglasses and they are the best and they come with a lifetime warranty for $325+ but that’s the best money I spent in a long time bought them in 2022 and they are blue glass lenses but they also have plastic but glass offers more protection and durability

In my case from my personal experience in general spending my debt card money on some things that can be pretty expensive in general such as grande Starbucks frappe drink, Nintendo switch games on the Nintendo eshop from my eshop account and of course my once a month in app game purchase for my touhou project LostWord mobile game app on my iPhone in general.
