First time I heard this song I was at work. To be honest I did not really listen, just thought it was about a failed relationship. Couple of days later I was in the van going home and the song comes on. I listened to the words this time. By the end I was crying my eyes out. My 19 year old son is going through so much pain at present. He has had to come home from university as he is at breaking point. We are getting him the help he so much wants. I am 58 years old and don't understand the first thing about mental illness. But this song has spoken for me to my son. We both love Liam, seen him together twice now. Thanks Liam, You have helped me so much in understanding the pain of this illness.

my father was a soldier stationed in germany, he was from manchester.. i lived there before my parents decided to split up and my mom took me and my brother back to germany..i have no vivid memories of the time there I guess I was too young..for a couple of years I been to manchester every summer in school holidays...at some point it stopped and I lost touch with my father..when I was like 25 I tried to reconnect to my father in manchester...i was at a low point at that time and he offered me to come to england live and work there..I was ready to go...then he had a fatal accident with his motorbike and unfortunately passed away.... since that time I have a obsession with anything coming out of manchester...footie, music anything... Im now about the age my father had when he passed... music like this from Liam keeps his memory alive at least for me it does...
