Unemployment claims just spike to the highest level that we have seen in a year. At the same time wage growth has been slowing down more than expected, suggesting that you already make enough money at least according to the government and the FED. Just another sign of the robust economy ;)

We have been in a recession for years. They just change the definition of it so they didn’t have to keep saying we were in a recession.

Not to mention, all those unemployed are no longer paying into the system.

People can't even tell when they are being depopulated, much less when they are in a recession.

It's a flashback to 2012... On TV, the Obama's were telling America what a great job they were doing, but people couldn't even get a job at Walmart or Dunkin Donuts.

The government doesn’t count people who have run out of unemployment benefits.

In today's tough economy with Higher interest rates, making money while dealing with depression is a real challenge. How can we stand another four years of this.

I feel bad for my kids. When I was 18, I delivered pizza averaging $18 an hour in 1998. I had an apartment for $562 a month, a car for about $260 a month, and paid all my bills. Today, this job probably makes the same money. Except rent is $1600 and the car payment is $500+. Job pays the same but expenses tripled. Go to sleep so you can experience the American dream!

The problem with getting a new job is that it is usually at reduced wages and benefits.

Grocery prices, rents and most consumer goods and entertainment will not come down in price. For the most part It is here to stay.

The economy is like a bouncy house with multiple leaks. Instead of patching the holes, they just keep blowing air into it, to keep it inflated.

Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

I'm a 75 yr old widow for 20-some years. Hubby and I made decent money but not tons. When he died I bought 5 acres of heaven with an old trailer for cash. (Sold house in SoCal for a pretty big loss, but wanted to get out.) I live easily on SS. I have a cabin at my place in case one of my relatives needs it in case the SHTF.
