I would've liked to see a version of Danny Phantom where, rather than catch the ghosts, to truly rid the world of their presence Danny would have to find and help them make peace with the origin of their pain. I think that show would have some strong themes of redemption, as will as give us some AMAZING backstory for Danny's antagonists. Probably too much for kids though.

This song becomes a lot darker when you realize she's singing about how she died. If I'm reading into the lyrics right, she had a one night stand with a guy she thought loved her, lost track of him for 2 weeks afterwards, saw him with another girl, forgetting about Ember, and then she died in a fire and now wants to be remembered. She doesn't want to be forgotten again or anymore.

For me, Ember seems to be one of the few villains that can be redeemed. She used mind control yes, but her backstory reveals all she wanted was to be a rockstar. She wasn't malicious, she just wanted to be happy and live out her dream. It's even proven in her episode that without the mind control, her music would still be liked, she just cracks under pressure without it. So with some convincing, she'd give up the mind control tactics and work for it. She has ghost powers too, which would definitely be something revolutionary to the music industry. They'd for sure notice and sign her to a label with something like that, eventually giving her what she always wanted that she couldn't have when she was alive

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks Danny Phantom is way better than The Fairly Odd Parents. I find it depressing that this show ended seasons before Hartman's other show. This was such a unique idea!

Such a sad story but a great song. It's a shame her ghost became evil. I recently bought all Danny phantom episodsson amazon to relive childhood and when this episode came on, the song got stuck in my head easily for several days
