Theme Park (Dos 1994) - Intro and Longplay

Theme Park by Bullfrog, 1994 - One of my favorite games as a child.
This is the version from GOG with DosBox.

Unfortunately this game is very hard to get running smoothly on a modern pc. In the beginning it runs to fast, and towards the end it runs too slow, and ends up crashing :-(

I have the game on CD-Rom from back then, but it's the same performance issues as with this GOG version (at least when running it on modern hardware with DosBox)

I have a 486, but i think it is a bit too slow to run this game perfectly. I think it needs an early Pentium with Win 95 to shine.

When i got this in 94 on ms dos the box art on the back always showed this mysterious tower, looked like a mushroom but no matter how much i played how much i tried I could never get that tower, I began to think maybe that's a picture from a different build and was never released, now i realise it's there but takes hours of research to get you! this really pissed me off as a child ha

I remember playing this game but found it too difficult to stay in a positive cash flow so I just created a theme park called 'Rollercoaster World' and used the entire land to create one big giant roller coaster lol. Hundreds of loops and corkscrews, people flying off it left right and centre.

theme hospital was such a colossal upgrade over this, it's incredible how much they could do in just 3 years.
