as an amiibo collector, i can confirm that the qbby amiibo is actually pretty rare. some amiibos came in a box with a 3ds game inside, for example, the chibi robo amiibo came with the game: chibi robo zip lash for the 3ds. this was the same for solar of estoria and dark souls, loot goblin from diablo, and so on. When they made the qbby amiibo, yes it was only released in japan meaning you couldnt get it in the usa at the time. However, because it was a japan exclusive (like the golden mario power-up band), it got exspensive in the usa, and so that is why it is worth so much. especially since they dont make these anymore
