I like how 4 is considered sturdy but 3 is literally for the triangle, the only polygon that is always congruent with the same side lengths.

Since you were wondering, October has Octo (eight)at the beginning because it used to be the eighth month until we took January and February and moved them to the beginning.

Fun fact (that I didn't verify): In China, buildings don't have floors of numbers that contain a 4 like 4, 14, 24 etc, because the Mandarin word for 'four' sounds similar to the word for 'death'.

to answer your question about October being month 10, it was months eight originally. Then Julius Caesar and his cousin Augustus decided that they wanted months to commemorate themselves in the Roman calendar, creating July and August. That is what pushed October into being the 10th month.

I was rooting for 9! I love how all multiplication of it with any number results in a number that when added together equals 9, and often starts with the number directly before it! 18, 27, 36, 45 etc.

The original Roman calendar didn’t have January or February with March being the 1st month, making October the 8th month, and we just never changed it when we added January and February to the start
