*Little history lesson real quick (100 years or so) about Back in 2003 this was all preppy. Cargo attire was essentially what you would wear on a safari and Abercrombie and fitch WAS safari gear and that's how they took so many classics and added safari or more traditional British style to the pieces by adding leather details to plaid skirts or making a cargo skirt instead of pants and making that into a mini or making cable knit sweaters into cropped versions.

They took all utilitarian items worn on safari and boating and for traditional sports like field hockey and tennis (polos) and made it with a new cut, texture, details, or fit*
