The Flex card is just a marketing gimmick to get Medicare beneficiaries to enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan during Open Enrollment, these plans can change every year, the premiums can be as low zero depending on your zip code and type of plan, you have to get pre approved for all major medical procedures, you will also be in a network, either an HMO or PPO your choice. I LITERALLY SELL MEDICARE!!! these advertisements DO NOT tell the beneficiary that its an ADDITIONAL BENEFIT on CERTAIN plans. Its so wrong. When someone calls in confused, i clear it up immediately and 9/10 times they no longer want to speak

My Medicaid pays mine. I have a Dual policy with My Medicare and Medicaid. Medicaid pays for my Medicare . I'm way low income and have SSI also.
