Some people think that their dynamic required more elaboration but I think you can see it from their little details. Hanseok’s facial expressions say it all. It’s pretty clear that it was one sided anyway, it would be sad if the writers developed on their romance just for it to go no where. (This is just my two cents!)

I think we all knew he liked her, or even somewhat cared for her. I just think HE didn't know. You almost see the compassion and admiration in his eyes when they're together- like when CY couldn't reach Vincenzo's phone and she was crying, hans seok almost felt bad for her. Him telling her that he loves was a bit sudden for me, I wish we got to see more of his human side before that.

I honesty ship the two most. I expected more scenes included them. Eventually, I feel so sorry for him, but at least he was not any timid second lead who only weep & cheer for FL. He has a powerful character to play.

He wasn't a monster since Cha-young was with him, she was his humanity, his heart... when she walked away from him, when he lost her, he lost his humanity, he lost the only good thing on him. That makes me feels so bad cuz if Cha-young stayed by his side and loved him he would never become that monster.
