'What We're Potentially Threatening Is HUGE!' | British Army 'Has Just THREE Years To Re-Establish'

The British military is “not as strong as we could be” as it battles “historic underinvestment”, the head of the armed forces has warned.

Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Admiral Sir Tony Radakin said there are “deficiencies” in personnel, training, technology and stockpiles of munitions.

But he said the “near-term financial challenges” are being addressed and he wants an Army that can “push the boundaries of technology and lethality”.

The Government has ordered a root-and-branch defence review as it considers how to learn the lessons from the war in Ukraine and respond to a world in which Russia is working more closely with China, Iran and North Korea.

Retired British Army Officer Sir Simon Mayall says the scale of what we're potentially threatening "is huge", as an Army boss warns the UK has three years to re-establish land capabilities.

"How we spend money is important but it's not a good time to find more!"

Recruited for the British army isn't at its usual level meaning less active troops, I believe this is due to the treatment of the British army in recent times the use of soldiers as an invading force into Iraq because of the lies regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction that was proved to be untrue by Dr David Kelly and colleague, hundreds of Killed in Action and life changing injuries as well as PTSD known and expected in the future, the witch hunt for soldiers who served in Ireland. The UK has an awful history regarding the treatment of soldiers resulting in new recruits quantiles not being at the usual level.
I hope the recruitment continues to fail our soldiers are not cannon fodder they're humans with families and friends their lives are precious
