Change JT-580LP tremolo with Schaller floyd rose. Will it fit?

I've been looking any information about swapping my old JT-580LP with a Floyd Rose. Now, i got myself a brand new Schaller Floyd Rose but the question is, Will it fit?

Interesting! That's the best drop in replacement. The OFR and Gotoh will go in but it will leave gaps and go very close the corners. That is the ultimate drop in replacement.

Viewers should note this trem he is using is just the Schaller locking trem, NOT the lockmeister one. They are identified by that writing just near the trem arm socket.

Dude I've been looking everywhere to see how to string a jt580, and so far this is the closest video I have found. When you string the jt580 do you snip the ball off? That's what I've been trying to figure out. If you can answer that for me you'd be a life saver man

I have the exact same pile of skull model with the jt580. Which I’m ok with but want to swap out so I can add the drop dtuna on it. The only thing I couldn’t see from your video was how the the Allen nuts set in relation to the body to be able to add the Dtuna on. You think there would be adequate clearance?

Please clean your guitar. You need to learn how to disassemble your Floyd Rose, clean it, lube it, and put it back together.
