For those confused about where this would take place in the soundtrack (had it been kept in), this song most likely takes place after "The Reynolds Pamphlet" but obviously before "The World Was Wide Enough".

George Washington wouldn't have known about Hamilton's affair beforehand because Hamilton had only confided in Burr, Jefferson, and Madison in "We Know". Hamilton must've published the pamphlet and THEN this song would be sandwiched between that and "The World Was Wide Enough".
