The mistake you're making is that you think a church is a building. The church are true believers in Christ so when you see an empty building it doesn't mean less people believe in Christ or left Jesus Christ. Remember pastor God didn't give us religion he gave us a personal relationship with Jesus Christ ❤️😊. Babylon the the great false religion in revelation.👍.
