If 2 candles' wicks (only) break the previous structure, is it a BoS? While both candles closed at same level of previous structure. Thanks

1. Sorry if I'm being thick, or overanalying, but want to be straight on structure. I understand 2 candles or more followed by 2 candles or more in opposite direction to create structural point.

However, are you saying that we need support structure (higher Low) created by the 2 or more in each direction following resitance?

My mind thinking in terms of BOS with regards to resistance, not the support/higher low structure. I understand we need higher low for it to remain BOS but wondering why we need confirmation of support structure.

Or is it more of a confirmation of support / swing low so we know uptrend has highest probability of resuming now.

2. Do you consider BOS a confirmation of trend on higher timeframes?
