yet another stupid little rant

i love how cult-y this is, maybe cuz im watching too many cases of cults but i love how so many things here blur into...Wait, is this about religion? or is it about a cult? Many things in both religion and cult are similar, as a catholic myself, i cant help but see a lot of similarities. if religion is abused too much, if its used in the wrong hands it starts stepping into cult territory. the way people are referred to as lambs and 'he' is referred to as farmer. idk its so neat even if its a deeply serious topic. many cults start with one 'savior' or yknow, messenger of god and capture people or in other words, herd sheep hehehehe. but when they have enough people who are brainwashed, most cults soon turn dark. the members are degraded with words like 'stupid and meek' but its too far late, theyre too far gone now. they try to leave the cult? most are either persuaded back in or shown what happens if they do. there're cases where the cult leader mutilates (like in the video) the members in front of others to instill fear in the other members, just like what happened in the video. and members soon grow dependent too, they're alienated from a normal life, (i.e - "is this what love is like?" in the song)

UM someone who reached the bottom and now that someone has helped them they feel obligated to. kinda like um some predatory/creepy people!??! HMM but my most favorite part here is 1:31 onwards cause?? it's just so sooo eerie in a good way i LOVE it the new lyrics fit so well and its just mwah, its so poetic and everything nice
