5:43 That happened to me once at a McDonalds, late at night, doing Uber Eats. The lights were all off, didn't see anyone there, but there was a big black truck in the lot, that had its lights off, but it was running. I just up and left and called support to tell them. Pretty sure it was a carjacking waiting to happen. If you guys ever do any rideshare or food pickups and the spot is weird, there's no lights or cameras, no people...get the hell out of there.

Super relatable and honestly a super accurate video. I’m sharing this with everyone who asks me what doordashing is like. It’s my main source of income right now and this video perfectly details the common aspects of the job. The 3PM silence, the 5PM boom, the eerie midnight hours, waiting ages for an order to be ready, locating apartment buildings, everything is dead accurate. I’ve had people attempt to break into my car while I’ve been driving during the night and I’ve seen my fair share of crazy events during the night, but it’s the best gig I’ve ever had. I can work when it’s convenient for me, and I make a decent chunk of change. Excellent video, I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

PRO TIPS:
-Always try to dash during peak period
-Only accept orders that are under 6 miles AND pay at least $6 for the dash. Pretty much $1 per mile you drive.
-Always try to communicate any issues with the customer so there is a better chance they will give a bigger tip (customers really appreciate this, at least from my experience)
