Harbor Freight Chicago electric angle grinder

Review on the Chicago electric 4-1/2" angle grinder where I purchased and how much how to use

I'm having trouble unscrewing the part to get a new grinder bit in. Anyone have tips for that? It's a few years old and seen lots of use at work but the guy who changed it doesn't work here anymore

You should get a Hercules 11 amp angle grinder way better than a cheap Chicago electric grinder

The "deal" with the other blade is that it is a "cutting" blade not a "grinding" blade. The additional metal support adds to its strength and stability to do cutting. Many people don't realize there are "cutting" blades and "grinding" blades and they are different.

I wish Harbor Freight still carried these handy angle grinder in stock.

Most Chicago electric tools come with little to no lubrication at all. Don’t buy unless you have experience taking tools apart and working with motors

it seems to be a better angle grinder over the two cheaper drillmaster angle grinders harbor freight has. they are underpowered, stall easilly, get hot and burn up quick as i had one go up in smoke and fire out the vents its the stators that burn more easilly. This Chicago electric grinder is more decent got more power keeps on going. i did reclock the housing and gearbox on it to position the switch on top not on the side in close proximity to the disc, and always have the guard on but use caution without the guard in tight spots.

you have to take the guard off and put them on together. itll work

Sure a lot of amateurs out there. You don't need the wrench to tighten it.
