I actually got five nights at Freddy’s without having to pay because it wasn’t as famous. I got it when I was a kid so it was hard to play without getting easily scared. So unfortunately, I am a veteran but I’m not graduating yet. I also LOVE the lore. It took so much time to understand but it was worth it

Now, I'm not a lore lover, but at 1:21, that's not The Bite of 87, that's The Bite of 83.

The Bite of '87 was an incident that occurred in 1987 at the second Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location. It was briefly mentioned by Phone Guy in the first game. The details of this attack and the identity of the animatronic responsible are unknown, but it allegedly caused the victim to lose the frontal lobe of their brain. The victim survived the attack. The incident contributed to a loss in the company's reputation, which was one of the numerous incidents that resulted in a major drop in business going forward. As a result of the incident, the animatronics were no longer allowed to wander around the building during the day; the management decided to limit their free-roaming mode to nighttime, so as to "prevent their servos from locking up", as stated by Phone Guy. "The Bite of '83", was shown in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 during a cutscene after completing the Night 5.[1] The whole events in the game took place in 1983. The main protagonist of the game, a child who is being thrown a party at Fredbear's Family Diner, is being bullied by several older kids and his older brother Michael who wanted to scare him. The gang gets the victim closer to Fredbear's stage and makes Fredbear "give the child a kiss" by shoving him into Fredbear's mouth. Whether by accident or not, the protagonist's head gets stuck in Fredbear's gnawing mouth. The machine's mouth then crunches shut on the victim's head. Another similar incident took place off-screen in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, according to one of the lawsuits. One lawsuit reports that the male child's head is bitten by the unidentified animatronic and suffered severe injuries, but his frontal lobe remained connected to his brain. Despite this, the doctors are unsure how long the frontal lobe will remain that way. Some fans have speculated that Foxy may have been the animatronic responsible for the bite. This is considered most likely by fans because he appears to be the most capable of doing so with his seemingly sharp and broken teeth.Still other fans speculate that Freddy Fazbear himself was responsible for the bite. On the posted rules in the East Hall in the original game, one of the rules listed states, "Don't touch Freddy." This rule may have been enacted after the bite; however it could be because Freddy is the main attraction, and so represents all the animatronics. Another popular theory among fans is that Mangle was the cause of the bite, as its jumpscare involves it swinging from the ceiling of the Office with its jaws open, going straight for the player's head. Upon inspection, it seems that Mangle attacks the upper area of Jeremy's head, where the frontal lobe is located. This further strengthens the possibility that The Mangle administered the Bite of '87 in a similar fashion to its death screen. This is reinforced by the mention that the new animatronics were being scrapped, something that would be likely to occur if one of them had caused the bite. While the bite is still debated about which animatronic did it as the answer is still unconfirmed, the most likely culprits are: Withered Freddy, Withered Foxy, and Mangle. The victim of the bite is speculated to be Jeremy Fitzgerald, who was the night guard in the game before he got moved to day shift, and presumably where he suffered from the incident.

I'm like a mix of a veteran, YouTube fan, and lore lover. I have fond memories of me and my brothers and sister hiding under the covers in a dark room as we watch Markiplier play FANF 1 when it just came out. A those were the good times.

Every fandom always has a "type of fans"
It doesn't even need to be toxic for that too

As a veteran and lore lover, I agree with this.

I'm a combination between :
(Veteran/YouTube fan/Lore lover)
And yes, I remember getting into FNAF all because of marks let's plays, and yes all the way back in 2014, and I've watched every single one from Fnaf 1 all the way through security breach over the years. I've watched other YouTubers do it too but mark was and always will be my favorite to watch it with, and thanks to mark I also played FNAF 1, FNAF 2 and FNAF 4 on my own, Although I didn't beat them but I tried, And on top of that, Thanks to game theory I got heavily invested into the lore. So much infact back in 2016 I had a journal where I would write all the lore I could possible, But to my surprise at the time, The lore kept expanding (and it still is) so I just stopped writing it down, but I do take mental notes on the lore. And it's amazing to see how far the characters have came!
I'm a proud veteran member of the community, and if there is another installment after security breach, I'll be there to watch it

(Edit : Whoa I didn't expect to see this many likes Thanks everyone!

I’m definitely a creator and a lore lover, like I love the games but making art and watching/over analyzing the lore is just so fun lol

I'm totally the lore lover. I love theory videos and the complexity of such a fast-growing fanbase. I like the books as well.
My one friend was a temporary fan. She just wasn't into it.

Funtime Freddy absolutely terrifies me like he scares me to the point of panic attacks and nightmares but meanwhile Helpy is legitimately my favorite character

I'm a bit of a mix of veteran, lore lover, and creator. I used to draw fanart of the series and I've been recently been getting back to drawing them ever since my old interest had sparked back up

I am a lore lover, because one day I was sick, had nothing to do and decided: "Hey! How about I do a marathon of all the video's that MatPat has ever made on FnaF!" This was last year, mind you.

Im a mix of the first 3, been around since fnaf 1, played the games and watched youtubers play it and I've seen so many fnaf theories that it's hard to forget the lore yet hard to explain the lore with how much there is

I started out as a veteran YouTube fan; then became something of a lore-loving memer. Though, it's kinda crazy to think about it now. My first taste of this fandom came from watching other YouTubers play the games back when I was a broke teenager, now I'm the one playing the games on YT. Like poetry, it rhymes.

As an fnaf simp or a music lover or a fan who is interested of fnaf stuff,

i've been loving the fnaf community in the old days because of their songs, characters or stories without knowing how much good they are,

but now nostalgia gave me so much memories that they're still there.

For me, the Golden era of Fnaf ended at Fnaf 4 which was the best game of the series, after that i totally left the fandom and never got any interest of Fnaf anymore, but Fnaf 4 will always be a favorite one

I'm the veteran and yeah that's accurate. 2014 really was a great year. I'm a Lore Lover too but I think most veterans are
I was also a "FNAF creator" but not a good one

I believe to be a mix of ''The Veteran'', ''The YouTube Fan'' and the ''Lore Enjoyer''. I've been into FNaF since 2015, right when the 3rd one was released. I was very interested in the lore and even ended up making my own theories after watching other french youtubers' theories about FNaF on YouTube, so yeah I'm a mix of these 3 types of fans.
