Remember, Christmas does not end on 25 December, the Christmas season goes all the way to the Epiphany and the Baptism of our Lord ending on January 12, so keep celebrating everyone!!🙏🎄✝️🎊

Thank you for the kind comments. My father recorded this album. He was supervisor for all remote recording operations for Columbia, NYC, 1956-71. He passed in 2010.I know he and Mr. Grahmsn (mixer) are listening to the original triple track.

This channel is a treasure, offering in superb sound the best, more re-listenable albums of Christmas music. A lot of nostalgia.

Wow this brings back some very fond memories. My parents bought this when I was released and we played it every year. Thanks for bringing it back!!

By far the most magnificent traditional Christmas Album ever recorded! As a teenager I used to listen to this for hours, while decorating the tree, wrapping gifts preparing Christmas Dinner etc. What excuisite interpretations and arrangements by Maestro Eugene Ormandy known as the "Philadelphia Sound!" It isn't Christmas without 1962's The Glorious Sound of Christmas!! 🎄 🔔 🔔 ⛄ 🎶 🎵 🎻 🥁 🎺

Boy, this brings back memories of my childhood. My folks bought this album when it was released and we played it often. I think everyone did. Sixty years ago. Wow, I’m old. 😄🎅

My dad played this every year. It's amazing how music can bring the memories and emotions back! Us kids of the 60s had a great life. We just didn't realize it back then.

I picked up this album in a record shop about 2 years ago. Fantastic record! It gets a lot of spins this time of year. Merry Christmas everyone.

I never thought I would write this but here we go: THANK YOU YOUTUBE ALGORITHM! I got this on cassette as a kid in the 80s and adored it. Last year I was trying to find it again but couldn't remember the name and could only vaguely remember what the cover looked like. This morning YouTube suggested it to me. I can't believe my luck! BLISS!!

Such a great recording, and yes so many memories of my folks at Christmas time, I miss them so much. No one decorated or celebrated Christmas like my Mom! And so many people all invited to Christmas, it was great family sleepover. RIP everyone!

Beautiful music excellently performed. Thank you. My childhood favorite and usually the first one I listen to for the season is Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians "Now is the Caroling Season".

We always played this album at Christmas. It's just beautiful! Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra, Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops, and Percy Faith and his orchestra. Just wasn't Christmas without this great music.

Listening to this album is Christmas to me. I have listened to this record for the last 40 years to ring in the season. My friends always laugh at me because my normal musical taste is hard-core and punk.
