How To Make The Getter 'Something New' Chords [FREE DOWNLOAD] Serum Chord Tutorial

I love Getter's chill stuff and the chords in "Something New" are so good. He's mainly a Serum guy who uses basic wave shapes so getting his sounds are never a mystery. This tutorial walks you through how to process these chords in Serum.

FREE DOWNLOAD:

STEPS:
1.) Set up two Osc. with the basic init saw wave and set the voices to 7 and the detune to 45%
2.) Turn osc. 2 up one octave and set the warp mode to "FM from A" at 20%.
3.) Turn on the sub up one octave and set it to a saw wave with the level set to 30%
4.) Set the noise to "ARP White" and set the level to 40%
5.) Set ENV 1 to a pluck shape and set the decay to about 2.15 seconds
6.) Turn on the filter and set it to "MG Low 12" with "A, B, N and S" all on
7.) Follow my lead as i automate the cutoff with LFO 1 and set the resonance to 10%
8.) FX TIME! Turn on the delay with both the left and right channels at 1/8 notes, with no feedback and the mix at 10%
9.) Turn on the chorus with the RATE set to 30%, 10% depth and feedback the lowpass filter turn off up at 20000hz and the mix set to 20%
10.) Turn on the Hyper/Dimension with the hyper at 10% mix, and the dimension set to 0% and the mix at 15%
11.) Turn on Multiband Compression with the gain up 16.5 db and a full mix
12.) Lastly, turn on the eq and highpass to 200hz and notch out 730ish hz

This was a great video, very informative! I'm not sure how I let the unison slide past when I attempted to remake Something New's chords (when the song first came out) but this video helped alot. If you would be able to remake the drop from Virtual Riot's new song Part Of Me at 1:40, that would be dope! I would love to see your take on it!
