Having children doesn't mean you'll be surrounded by loved ones in your old age. Go to a retirement home and speak to them.

Older people build their own communities with like minded people. Being older without family does not have to equal misery or isolation. The same way that having family does not prevent the above from occuring either.

I live in nz and lots of people have children who have emigrated. And many people move to another city because of houseprices or job opportunities etc - it is common that even people with children dont live near them these days.
Also old people have friends their own age that they can form close bonds too. This dialogue was a bit over the top - he just basically described an old peoples home, thats all

They make so many laws that favor old people. It's so unfair. Give the young people a chance!
