I'm wondering whether there is any difference in the pronunciation of φ and π in the Ancient Greek of your choosing. Apparently, the former is meant to be aspirated, but both sounds in φοιβος and Απολλον feel identical to my untrained ear. To be fair, I struggle with the idea that π can at all be pronounced without the trailing aspiration.
