Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (officially abbreviated as PES 2010 and known in Asia as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2010) is the ninth football video game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. The game was developed and published by Konami for release on Sony's PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable; Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Windows; Nintendo's Wii; and mobile phones.

PES 2010 was announced on 8 April 2009and the playable demo for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions was released on 17 September 2009.The game itself was released on 23 October 2009 in Europe.
Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona and Argentine player) is a key endorsement player for PES 2010, having featured extensively throughout the promotion and development of the game. He features on the cover alongside Fernando Torres (Spanish and Liverpool F.C. player), another endorsement player. PES 2010 was succeeded by Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.
The game was released on the iPhone OS in June 2010

With an exclusive deal with UEFA, both the UEFA Champions League and (for the first time) the UEFA Europa League are fully licensed. The tournaments are integrated into the Master League mode;however, the Europa League is only available on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
Double Fusion signed an agreement with Konami for advertising their clients products in the game.
In total, the game includes 258 squads, with 139 of them being officially licensed. Including the empty league, the game has a total of 55 teams that can be changed completely by user editing.
Like previous versions, there is also a separate league with 18 empty teams (Team A, Team B, etc.), each of which can be edited fully. This was initially introduced when Konami failed to get the rights to the German Bundesliga. Since its introduction, it has become very popular amongst the PES community, and as a result, they are usually made into the Bundesliga or another league of one's preference by patch makers. Popular made leagues are the Liga Sagres, Belgian First Division A, Championship, EFL League One, EFL League Two Liga I, Argentine Primera División or Primera División de México, Greek Superleague and Moroccan Botola Pro.

PES 2010 is a damn masterpiece, a real football game, just listen to the anthem of the champions, it gives you goosebumps. Why KONAMI can't do this again with current graphics? Instead, KONAMI give us EFOOTBALL that is real piece of trash!

They are absolutely different games. When you compare for instance ps3 pes 2017 and ps4 pes 2017 you are comparing the same game with different graphic characteristics but comparing these games likes comparing mobile java pes 2013 with ps2 pes 2013

Pes 2010 feels completely different on the ps2. Almost like pes6 tbh. In my opinion it feels a little better than the xbox/ps3 version just because of that.

Pes 2010 era un juego muy sólido en el sentido de que el Gameplay estaba muy bien construido, en el pes 2011 los jugadores parecen de papel, a eso me refiero cuando digo que el pes 2010 era sólido... físicas del balón extraordinarias, los tiros a puerta eran increíbles, las redes de la portería 10/10, los gráficos eran bastante buenos teniendo en cuenta que el pes 2013 por ejemplo se veía borroso, el 2010 se ve nítido y el sonido del balón al impactar en el pie de un jugador era espectacular. era sobresaliente, se podían hacer goles desde el centro del campo si sabías con quién tirar, habían muchas posibilidades de marcar y realmente el juego era muy bueno, tengo el pes 2010, el 2011 y el 2013 y para mí después de haber jugado a los tres durante bastante tiempo puedo decir que el pes 2010 es en mi opinión el mejor pes de la generación PS3/X360

This reminded me of how I made fool of myself recently. I am very good at PES 2013, me and my friends are playing it for 10 years now. And I went to some party, and the host told me that he can kick my ass in PES 2013. I said no way, and in front of all people we made a bet. I didn't know we will play on PlayStation 2. IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME. I think that was PES 6 only with transfer updates, but it was called PES 2013 and all that. He absolutely destroyed me, and the bet was that I had to drink a lot of beer, very fast. It didn't go well
