The biggest Joke is how so many undervalue and underestimate the Joker...
If you had just given Jokic his due as you knew he was about to be an NBA Champion and because he still has the potential to win more rings. Then you could've comfortably put Pierce at #5 where he belongs and been completely justified.

Man idk maybe this a hot take but Jokić at 5 is wild. 2 time MVP, 1 Finals MVP, only player in nba history to lead the playoffs in points, assists & rebounds. He is only 28 years old and he is the best passing big in league history by a long shot, in my opinion he has the one of the 3 highest basketball IQ’s among bigs in nba history, he’s incredibly consistent and he is never injured. I don’t want this to sound like this is all recency bias like I’m sure most will think but Jokić is already borderline top 20 all time for me and I assure you he shows absolutely no signs of slowing down

Jokic doesn't need to team up with Gary Payton, Jason Williams, Antoine Walker, Alonzo Mourning, Shaquille O'Neal, and the top free agents... he didn't need to join LeBron, Bosh, Ray Allen, and the league's top free agents to win championships either. Jokic is the best player in the league and has won multiple MVPs. There has never been a center like him who plays as a playmaker and dominates the game. He didn't get the third consecutive MVP due to politics. With low-class players, he reached the NBA Finals and may possibly be the Finals MVP. Wade was never the best player in the NBA throughout his career. Wade was very good and the Finals MVP, but he was never the best in the league.
