Dr Robert Cox - Royal Orthopeadic Hospital
Mr Cox is an Extended Scope Podiatric Practitioner at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. Mr Cox has gained affirmation of his personal and professional expertise by becoming a Member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine, at the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow. He has been instrumental in the setting up of the successful Heel Pain Service, at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, which has included the introduction of Shockwave Therapy for the treatment of heel pain and tendinopathies.
Ben qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 and has worked extensively in hospital, private practice and sporting settings within Asia, Middle East and the UK. Having specialised in musculoskeletal care, he works as an MSK Extended Scope Practitioner in the NHS and also in private practice. He has developed a special interest in treating complex lower limb pathologies, running injuries and chronic hip and groin patients, Benoy is a specialist in Shockwave Therapy.
