Window Bird Feeder Review | How to Attract Birds | Birding

Birding is something I have always enjoyed. In this video I will unbox and do a window bird feeder review for window ledges. Feeding birds from your window ledge is one way on how to attract birds to your garden. So, how to attract birds to your balcony or garden, then this clear window bird feeder is the answer. I will show you how I set up this bird feeding station. It has three suction cups that hold the clear acrylic bird feeder on your window. There is a removable tray for suet, dried mealworms and sun flower heart seeds. The bird feeder also has a small rubber ledge for the birds to stand on. As with any new bird feeder or change in the garden, birds take long to get used to it. So, you need to be patient once the
feeder is setup. I have also setup a camera to capture any movement at this bird feeder.

It is easy to setup - just slightly wet the suction cups and place them on the window. The space between them is roughly 9cm. I checked as the suction cups do not slide very easily once on. This is good as I know the feeder will not slide down the window or move around.

Cleaning is also easy - you can remove the tray and wash it off as well as the entire feeder. You do not have to use the feeder tray that is removal as the feeder and tray have multiple holes for drainage should it rain and get wet. This is great a the seeds and suet or dried mealworms do not stay damp.

The current feeders in our garden attract all sorts of birds such as the blue tit, great tit, robin, starlings, dunnick, pied wagtail and the usual doves, pigeons and magpies.

To install:
Slightly moisten suction cups on bird feeder.
Press suction cups firmly on selected window to attach.
Remove seed tray and fill with bird seed.
Stay patient while waiting for birds to show up.

Cleaning Instructions:
Remove seed tray and wash in mild detergent and water.
1 teaspoon of bleach with to disinfect.
Rinse and dry.

Hey I have ordered one like this yesterday I set it up but I have only had one visitor. I did have a smaller version or this befor it broke so I needed a bigger one so I found this any tips to get birds using it!

Had a great 3 months with this until the pigeons worked it out. Now wondering how to add a lattice etc to stop them. So depressing seeing the little birds without food as I had to bring it inside.

Unfortunately, I don't see how this video shows you how to attract birds to your feeder. I will try an experiment. I will use a YouTube video with Cardinal and blue jay sounds and put it right near the feeder and see what happens..
