Its an open back.... you stated it even... the purpose of an open back is for sound pressure relief so that there is less interference and distortion... its not meant to be used for a noise isolation purpose.... Closed back headphones will provide greater bass response and isolation but that is not the purpose of open back. Open backs as for clarity essentially... ofc they will leak thats the purpose of the design...
