I check my local precious metals guy every Monday, he tells me he's sold all the gold recently acquired by the weekend.
He knows what I am likely to buy and holds it back for my first refusal.
After a period of years, gold flows through your veins to the point your brain knows value when it presents itself.
I've long since stopped checking metal prices on waking up. Those that buy and sell paper contracts simply prove that they still have faith and trust in fiat currencies.
Adding fiat to an account to finance excessive expenditures, is another form of house of cards built on shifting sands, generating a tax liability.
