Oh no, I realized that when a guy comes at me with emotional momentum I get scared and shut him down or turn away, I even become uninterested. But when he pulls away, that's when I start feeling the attraction. Damn so it's my problem!

Someone help. I like a guy at school. He taps my head, touches my shoulders, makes eye contact with me but I feel him looking at my whole face (lips too), calls me his “best friend”, compliments my personality such as saying “nobody’s as cool as you” or “yeah you’re awesome”, things like that. He also makes oddly inappropriate jokes at times (which I understand because most guys do), and he’ll try to make me laugh. He “argues” with me over things like “dogs are better than cats.” He has also recently been asking if he could sit by his best friend (me). Of course I always say yes, but either way. I also never get made at him. He’s so sweet and even seeing him makes my day better. I’ve liked him for over a year (about 16 months) and I have a strong feeling he likes me back.
