The GREATEST "beach" song NOT written by BRIAN WILSON, JAN & DEAN or anyone else from Southern California (or the East Coast beach scene)! It is, without a doubt, a timeless CLASSIC that sounds as good now as it did when it was originally released! Definitely takes me "back to the day" when I first heard it (1974), even if I didn't live it since I was living in New Mexico at the time! I LOVE IT!!!

Fantastic song, but could totally tell this song was written in the UK. The States celebrates summer from late May to very early September. And San Jose is not a summer beach destination as well, it’s cold in NorCal!
Tony Burrows does a great job imitating an American accent though, and this song is a great tribute to the beachy songs The Beach Boys did in the 60s.
