I remember leaving a suggestion back in 2014 on the warthunder website saying that they should have 2 things. 1 being bomber cockpits (which they said they'd add very soon LMAO) and the other was the avro arrow because at the time there was less real things in the game and a devs response was that warthunder wouldn't be reaching into that era

At this point Gaijin has got themselves to the point that there's not going to be any more modern vehicles to add, so what are they going to do then? Paper tanks and prototypes are the only things left that they can add, or some of the more obscure older ones that people have been asking for, maybe this finally means that they'll add the Coelian back to the normal tree

We're still missing a ton of WWII vehicles, M7 Priest, M4A1 76 with HVSS, a bunch of US SPGs, Hummel, and a whole bunch of others, so I'd like them to focus on that for a few patches instead of top tier air and ground, which has been pretty much this whole year.

Im glad that someone like Phly brought this up, I definitely think paper tanks would be a very fine addition to the game, I think the warthunder community needs to have this conversation because, in my opinion the game has long past the point where historical accuracy really matters, which is the primary complaint i have seen regarding paper tanks, and this is not even mentioning how these vehicles would allow nations outside of the big three to have more useable lineups

I think Gaijin needs to add WW1 vehicles and maps. Mix it up with sporadic artillery fire, vehicles etc. Modern is cool and all, but I would love to see what they could do with very primitive

Keep in mind that it's a spectrum from paper to purely fictional tanks. There's actual projects with detailed blueprints, then simple sketches and undetailed proposals, then complete "what-ifs" thought up by the game devs, then fantasy like the Warhammer tanks in WoT Blitz.

My paper tank that I'd love to see is the Type 5 Ho-Ri II not too far fetch and there is an old drawing of it.

I reckon Gaijin need to implement self propelled artillery, like the m110 or Hummel for example. That would introduce a new meta. Something fun for us to figure out.
And obviously, new game modes!

Reminds me of Armored Warfare, back when I still played it, when the game was still relatively young. Most of the top tier stuff was mostly Science Fiction, like a T-14 Armata with a 152 mm gun, or a Leopard 2A7 with a 140 mm gun.
