Thank you Taylor for your explanation of this lesson. A quick personal story that happened to me this morning. I got up for my typical morning gospel study, but was anxious about a few things going on in my professional/personal life. Business has been slow for the past week which is always stress inducing. Before I sat down to study - I prayed for business to pick up and for things to work out. Literally, I was praying for some 'Manna' in my life, though I did not recognize it as what I would study this morning. As I watched this video and did today's reading, I was struck by how relevant it was to my current stress. I too, like the Israelites need to be reminded to be dependent upon the Lord in all things and at all times. I've have seen the hand of the Lord so many times in my life, yet I am always quick to forget his powerful hand in my life (both business and professional). He is the one that sends the miracle of manna in His own way into my life.

What happened to all their cattle and other livestock? In Exodus 17: 3 the people are complaining that there is no water for their cattle but in Exodus 16 they are complaining about starving.
