I don’t know why but this entire scene is hilarious to me. I just love the concept of a beautiful ghost appearing out of nowhere and deciding to randomly blow some guy lying in the bed. 😅😅😅

they mess up the pacing for sure but they're so cool to see it's like an alternate reality. I would be down for an extended edition with the scenes put back in.

It's very easy to see why all of this was cut. Movie makers in the 80s knew when to be brutal for the good of the movie. I love seeing this stuff, it makes me appreciate final cuts even more. Makes you realise the process must have been really difficult, especially for movies that come in at a lean 90 minutes. Ghostbusters would be weaker as a 2 hour movie. Everything cut would have made it less concise, less punchy and spry. Bravo to the Director and Editors of this perfect, near 40 year old movie.

I always thought the bit in the montage with Ray dreaming, was unexplained. This helps give me some closure.

Shame they didn't use the full scene of ray and Winston at the location where the female ghost seduces Ray

I remember reading the script that Ray tried on the suit and all and laid down but what made him think he could do all that on the job?
