Little Egret Fishing | Birding in Thailand

Little Egret fishing at Rama 9 Park, Bangkok; birding in Thailand. Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) is a common and widespread bird but it is interesting to watch them hunt. Even though there were lots of people enjoying an early morning jog, this Little Egret was busy fishing at the water's edge just a few metres from a busy path. Although it might seem obvious that Little Egret is a common bird in rice fields and wetlands it is more surprising to find that it is common within the city of Bangkok too.
