------------------------------------------------------

I recently turned 26 and have a lot more responsibilities on my plate (like paying for my own health insurance now!!). With a new job and home renovations in full swing, I am trying to track what I spend in a week on a budget, so I can get a better understanding of my personal finances and where I can save more.

I know $500 is still quite a large budget for a week, but I wanted to start with an attainable goal rather than something super extreme. Now that I know I can go much more below that, I want to see if I can budget down to spending $200 a week. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see that!

I think your expenses have more to do with time management than actually overspending

"What's up guys this is Graham and welcome back to my show, and today we are going to be reacting to 'What I Spend In A Week in My 20's In Seattle', wait for it... on a budget"

Suggestion!! Try making a “capsule wardrobe” for work only. Get a stylist to help you with it. It would save you TIME and HEADACHES. Love your content. Feel like I’m reliving my youth. I’m addicted!

You should try this out for a month and see if your habits change longterm!

A fun video for you to do would be a ranking of your career moves like James Charles and Laurdiy did! Since you have such a vast history on youtube like Just like That, flipping out, the twin channel, going on GMA, the podcast, having purple hair be your brand, DIYs, scripted content- I think it could be really interesting how you evolved and how you think different genres/moves helped or hurt your success and trajectory! As a long time viewer I would find your analysis really interesting

"This will be the only time I go to sbux this week"
INSTANTLY called bullshit. It's a shame, really, cause after much thought put into those pants they're now ON FIRE

Don't go into Target unless you know what you want. Seriously, the store is so appealing that I only let myself go in there maybe once every three months for Up and Up garbage bags, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. You walk in and the good smells from Starbucks (in-store) are the first temptation. Go past there and avoid that impulse row of things for $1 or $2 because none of those things are necessities--they are little decor items that serve no purpose other than being cute. Don't go in the jewelry or the purses or the clearance of fast-fashion clothes. Stick with food and paper products and cleaning products or you will be lost to the allure...

I stumbled upon Shelby’s videos and then yours about 6 months ago and have been an avid fan ever sense. I appreciate your transparency and the work and creativity that goes into your quality content.

I don’t typically comment on YouTube videos, but after reading some of the comments on this one, I just wanted to say - don’t ever feel like you need to apologize for your success. Success is not a finite resource, and your success does not take away from anyone else’s. Keep doing you, girl!

It's always fun to watch you and your channel grow and change! Thanks for being so honest and open. You're definitely one of my favorite YouTubers!

Honestly I know some people find those boxes a waste, but I like them because they help you switch up meals, but also they just give you the right amount of ingredients vs me buying ingredients having too much and letting it go bad.

Not hating but if you didn’t have time to even heat up food at home, I’d think it would take even longer to go to the Starbucks drive through?!
