Makes sense she's as strong as she is
1. She's an era 1 gem. (They don't make em' like they used to)
2. As stated in the movie, her cut is perfect, meaning she's made flawlessly.
3. Spinel gems are regal gems, so I can only assume they'd be made of the best resources.

If I had to guess how Spinel got the injector. She used to be Pink Diamond's closest gem, so it could be possible she knew some access codes or private locations where she could get her gear.

I think her being specifically made to be a playmate for Pink definitely influences her durability and strength. She was made to be a toy for a powerful gem prone to temper tantrums... she's gotta be tough and/or flexible otherwise it's not a good investment.
