I used to work for the BBC, it was a dream job very highly paid. But it was a rude awakening. I was quite shocked at the precision that every show was planned to the tiniest detail. Not that I didn't expect precision but on live broadcasts the entire narrative was planned in advance. Every person every reaction was planned ahead. I have never owned a television since.
