I saved even more money by cutting caffeine out of my normal diet. Now when I need a pick-me-up I can a cup of instant and it actually does something. The turning point was when I was going through a case of Coke Zero a day.

I don't hear anyone talking about brewing temperature 200-205 degrees. Not many that can do that.

I'm no coffee snob but I've read using a french press is the best way to enjoy your brew. My old $20 drip machine IS old but it does the job still.

Cuisinart Keurig machine works the best, and last longer, then any other k cup machine. It also comes with a reusable kcup. It is built more sturdy.

I have a pod coffee brewer for convenience, but one day i'd like to have a ground and brew. Now i have to go make coffee...

Have you guys found a coffee machine that DOESN'T have plastic parts & tubes inside? I'm looking for something that's made out of stainless steel and glass and doesn't give you cancer.

You can get a refillable POD for Keurig models from a 3rd party company, surprised they don't know this. The brand of single fill machine we have unfortunately doesn't have this yet maybe because they didn't sell as many as the overpriced Keurig model.

I have a Keurig Elite. I wanted a Keurig and this is the model I could afford. The water is hotter. Keurig made a unit called the My K-Cup so folks could use their own coffee grounds. but their is little trick to make this unit perform at it's best. An explanation is is a video called KEURIG my k-cup reusable coffee filter FIX! and this really works. very clever.

We love our Keurig coffee maker. It's kinda expensive, but it is super convenient and the coffee is amazing!

Save your money, get a $15.00 Mr. Coffee and call it a day. Cheapest machine to run, few parts to fail like all the esoteric complicated crap out there...

They have a refillable Keurig thingy but the other brand we have doesn't have one for refilling, wish they would make one for all of the single cup models.
