Looking back well into the past! I believe you continued to Chapter 4a and continued using Temperance (as the fourth activating Virtue from previous Chapter). Page 18 Ending a Chapter third paragraph states “Note that some Chapters will ask players to choose which of several paths they want to take. Each option leads to a different Chapter and will trigger an outcome. As such, after players decide which path to take, the current Chapter will end without players having taken any turns.”
And following on from that, when you did continue, you chose to Donate a die, which you can’t do to Virtues that have already activated. So surely, you just start Chapter 4a afresh and reset your turn order tokens to suit? I can’t find anywhere in the rulebook or faq that says you do what you did. Other than that, I enjoyed it very much and how nice to see well-painted miniatures! A man after my own heart, lol!

Just for your information, Bordeaux pronunciation is more "bordo" (or a combination of Bored + Dough). "eau" in French is the same as the "o" sound.

Either I'm playing wrong or you are but I'm pretty sure you are only allowed to use one Faith as a wild per turn.

This is more of a rules question than a correction, but you said that at the Danger level you were at only two Shadows could be on the board, and then you placed all four when you used that one Virtue card that put all four Virtues and Shadows out. Does the card override the Danger level?
