A day after meeting the top Israeli leadership, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. During the meet the top US Diplomat reaffirmed Washington's backing for a two-state solution. Blinken criticised settlements in West Bank saying the US will oppose 'anything' that threatens the 2-state solution. He further warned that Palestinian people are facing "a shrinking horizon of hope."

I understand Israel is a secular country and I am at loss to understand that why both sides are unable to co-exist. I think palestinians would be well of with israel where there religion is also well respected and I am sure the perks of Israel develoment will reach them too. But I guess there is Iran equation too and some palestianians aligned to HAMAS would want Israel kicked out. Though India got divided on religious lines the India became secular and more muslims are living in India than in pakistan more peacefully. of course some religious riots happen all over the country but those are controlled quickly. The Irony is that most of the muslims from their own countries would like to migrate to west and live peacfully with secular constituitions. Of course the some of immigrants have started demanding there too to impose Shariat Law which is no where followed in the muslim countries. In this way the secular fabric is getting disturbed and when the governments are trying to safegaurd the secular fabric the muslims are crying foul. I do no mean offence to anybody but this hyprcoricy must stop
