Good morning mam
The homework question answer is:

6x -3 + 3 = 15+3
6x [-3+3] = 15+3
=6x = 15+3
=6x = 18
So, 18\6 = 3
Thus x = 3

Clearly step 2 is the wrong one :)

The equation is 6x-3= 15
Using Balancing Method
First step should be
6x-3+3=15+3
Which is Same as given on slide.
Therefore there is no mistake in first step.
Second step should be 6x=18
Which is not same as given on slide.
Therefore there is a mistake in second step.

Teacher my name is Sreyas the hw answers are
6x -3 + 3= 15+3 -3 and 3 are different signs we subtract them so we will get 0 and we will add 15+3 = 18 and 6x = 18 and we will do 18/6 which is equal to 3 and step 2 is wrong
