i tried gripping it like a real skateboard and it looked terrible lol the foam does not cut the same, just went over it with a file like this and it worked way better

Just did it, I first thought I got the wrong type of tape because it was soft not hard and grippy like sandpaper.... turns out I was very wrong and it is now like riding a cloud

Just sand down don’t go back and fourth way easier way cleaner and you won’t accidentally unstick it by moving it
