How to Remove E-Clips WITHOUT an E-Clip Tool (Horseshoe Fastener Removal Tutorial)

In this video tutorial, I will show you how to remove E-clips without a E-clip tool. Whether if you call them e-clips, c-clips, circlips, snap rings, retaining rings, or anything else, it's simple!
There are many very similar clips that look like this, a ton of names, but they are referred to most commonly as #C-clips.

Thank you; twisted a screwdriver (had to find just the right size) in the gap, and clip opened up, but didn't ping off. Then pushed it off with needle nose pliers, with a cloth held loosely over it all in case of "ping".

Worked perfectly.

This method also works for me. I have a fully automatic bread machine with a broken belt. I used this method to take the pulley out and replace it with a new belt. Thanks!👍
