MOT MBA 15th Anniversary (Part 3 of 5): Elicia Maine, SFU Beedie School of Business

SFU Beedie's Management of Technology MBA celebrated its 15th Anniversary this year. An MBA designed specifically for technology professionals, the program was the first of its kind in Canada. Beedie marked the occasion with a panel discussion on the topic of "Creating National Champions" – how technology companies can develop and scale in Canada, and contribute to a stronger economy.

Beedie's own Dr. Elicia Maine presented key concepts from her recently published article on barriers to industrialization of science-based ventures in Canada, and how attitudes must shift in order for science-based enterprises to thrive in this country.
