I'm wanting to get a 2024 mustang gt but I cant decide between the mustang or a tesla model 3 performance... I'd rather have the mustang but I don't wanna get gapped by teslas at traffic lights...

Right. Pretty slow for 700 hp/600 tq crank and 3900 lbs. But hey, the stock times are 4 .4 to 4.6 sec. I couldn't get 5 new GT's A10's under 5.2 sec with very grippy surface, hot tires and cool 52° air. I managed a 4.8 sec with the MT82. Both cars had great grip, perfect conditions, about 6 gal of gas. Ford have always overrated their performance vehicles power and they use 93/94 octane gas too.

Torque is 0-60 and 5.0's just don't have it like they did until 1993. The 2024 is 145-180 lbs heavier, boxier (worse aero), and less Torque than the last 2 generations. Vack to 2013.
