Btw the reason why some manga panels have that chaotic panel flow is exactly for the same reason: to make it chaotic, it creates an environment that's fast paced and hard to comprehend, somewhat making it immersive

I loved the video!!! As an aspiring manga maker, I wanted to improve my panels beyond the bare basic layouts and panel in a way that made the action scenes better. But one thing that I really want a video on general storyboarding for manga, like what details should you storyboard or omit? I'm guessing you should only storyboard focus elements and important backgrounds but I would like a more detailed explanation on that.

This was SUPER helpful and exactly the basics I've been looking for for a few days lol. Most of the videos I've seen (maybe like 20 of them now?), while having very helpful tips here and there, had a basic assumption that I already knew how to do all of this - and I don't! I've never written a manga/comic before, didn't go to art school, and have very weak art skills.
