Damn, really sad! 😔I’m house hunting in Western CT right now (from Mass). This is something to think about for the future. *_(Edit, Dear YT police: I’ve made other comments strictly about these poor women & their families. Y’all complain about repetitive comments — like repeated condolences, not enough empathy, TOO MUCH empathy, grammar, phrasing, & other generalized b*tching. So at this point, I’ll say a blanket “I’m sorry if I offended you, but maybe you need meds if everything upsets you this much.” Thank you for coming to my TED talk)._*

Me and my family decided to go back to school shopping on this day and look for some clothes as well, since there was no tax on clothes for the week. and when we drove past a bridge, we saw HUGE amounts of water. Luckily, the road we went through was still save to drive through, as the water wasn’t dangerously high. The bridge we passed, however, was blocked off, yet we still saw an idiot try to cross the bridge and he even had the audacity to drive through the tape. I cant believe he would do something illegal and dangerous just so he didn’t have to take a back route and lose like 1-5 mins to get to wherever he was going. His car most likely had to pay for how deep he went into the water.

Guy just said: Two people died because they did the wrong thing. How about not victim blaming in the same sentence as the death announcement? What a dolt.

The more trees cut down and replaced with concrete ( development, ) will only make things worse.

If people are interested in moving to Las Vegas NV we have major flash flooding during our monsoon season and sometimes Winter. You have to understand the driving issues in States that have Flash flooding.

Poor "coverage" Newtown received TWELVE inches of rain in 12 hours, not eight.
.1% equals a "once in a THOUSAND" year event. not once in 200 years.

They don't teach this in high school, so how could they know about flooded streets.

No mention of climate crisis contribution to this disaster (hotter temps, more intense rain… warm air holds more water) #TellTheTruth #ActNow
